I met Andy and Tamara last week in Marietta to shoot their engagement session, and I definitely wasn’t prepared to have as much fun as I did.  These two  made my job easy, and I think we laughed so much that I could hardly even call it a “job”.   Marietta Square was preparing for one of it’s many festivals, and we were lucky enough to be able to incorporate some of it in the photos.   Tamara also wore the same outfit from their very first date (so sweet!) and Andy loves ice cream (the other kind of sweet!), so we made a pit stop at a favorite ice cream shop.  They are having their wedding next month on a beach in the Caribbean, and I’m hoping they have a suitcase big enough to fit me in

Rachel and Jordan were married a couple of weeks ago in an outdoor ceremony at the beautiful Bella Terra in Rome, Georgia.  It was my first time shooting at Bella Terra, and I have to say, the grounds at this place are stunning.  The bride was gorgeous, and the look on Jordan’s face when she walked down the aisle, makes me smile every time I think about it.  It was a perfect day to get married, and the bride and groom were surrounded by family and friends who helped them celebrate the first day of the rest of their lives together.  Rachel and Jordan – Thanks for allowing me to be a part of such a special day!

A few weeks ago, I donated a gift certificate for a fundraiser benefiting a sweet baby boy named Andrew who has a form of muscular dystrophy.  The winner of the gift certificate contacted me and wanted photos of her six grandchildren.  I’ve known this family since I was in elementary school, and they are some of the sweetest people you could ever meet.  And these kids, well, they are nothing short of adorable.

I’m still trying to catch up from being out of town, but in honor of Barbie’s 53rd birthday yesterday, I want to give you guys a glimpse into what went on inside the Barbie Suite and The Palms hotel in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago.  The ladies behind The Boudoir Forum held a shootout, and I was lucky enough to attend.  I’ve just started dipping my toes into the world of boudoir photography, but so far, I’m loving it.  The women that modeled for us were not only gorgeous, but they were amazing to work with.  The talented Kelly Trerise, was responsible for the stunning hair and makeup.  Here are a couple of my favorite photos so far.

Let me start by saying I don’t understand the whole Ryan Gosling attraction.  I mean, he’s a okay looking guy and everything, but if I go and see Ides of March, I’m there for Clooney.  Totally, all the way.  I don’t get the meme’s all over the internet, either.  With that being said, I came across one today that actually made me laugh out loud.  For some reason, this one is hilarious to me.  You’re welcome.

I can’t believe it’s been 5 months already since I have seen this sweet face. At the time, I though he was a adorable newborn, but just look at him now – he has gotten nothing but cuter.  His sister is gorgeous herself, apparently good looks run in the family
